CARODEL ALPACAS is home to both the huacaya and the suri. We have owned this wonderful species on our 80 acre farm since 1999.
We have had the privilege of having some stellar crias to be born to us, over 150, in this small frame of time. We have also had the pleasure of being awarded ribbons by various AOBA Halter and Fleece judges highlighting the pedigree, the fleece and the conformation of some of our breeders progeny signifying our goal to have a solid breeding program.
The farm has bloodlines that are well known in the USA. We are pleased to have Millenium's Candeaux as the anchor to the huacayas and Tuscano of PVA who anchors the suri breeding program.
Both of these males have put very nice crias on the ground and are making their own marks.
We have been honored to part of the lecture circuit in South Africa; this country being new at having the alpaca in their midst and learning as are we in North America.
CARODEL ALPACAS has always been interested in the education of the alpaca breeder. In our CARODEL ALPACA COLLEGE, We have had lecturers to visit our farm and help our neighbors learn as much as we can. Among them have been Ian Watt, Dr. Steve Hull, Dr. Amanda Martabano-House, Jerry and Libby Forstner, Dr. David Pugh.
